We Aren't Superstitious At The TToT!

Do you know why Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day?

According to the History Channel, biblical tradition says that the Last Supper was attended by 13 guests (Jesus and the twelve disciples). That didn't play out well, as one of them betrayed him, so 13 guests became a bad omen to Christians.

Friday was the day Jesus was crucified, which gave it a negative connotation, and, as evidenced by writings found in the Bible, Friday was also the day Eve gave Adam the apple from the Tree of Knowledge, AND the day Cain killed Abel.

Do you know how to negate all that bad luck?

Think about how thankful you are for all things, large and small, write them down, and link them up to the Ten Things of Thankful.

Don't Be A Fruitcake!

Who's ready to kick this year off with a list of thankfuls? Like, maybe, 10 thankfuls. Or more. Or even less. Sometimes, each item on a list of thankfuls aren't evenly weighted, so whatever number you end up with, you won't get a challenge on your math from any of us!

For those who follow Christianity, today marks Epiphany. I hope you have your own epiphany and grasp just how simple and beautiful it is to look at your life and find the thankfuls in it.
