IMPORTANT NOTE: I will be out of town Aug. 12 thru Aug. 19, so I may not have the opportunity to comment on your posts until I return. Please drop by and visit each other! - Josie Two Shoes :-)
Welcome to Ten Things of Thankful!
We gather here each weekend to share our posts about the things we are thankful for in our lives, and sometimes just to report that we've survived a difficult week; when we start focusing on the positives and the silver linings, we are able see that life is good. We also encourage each other by sharing pieces of our own journey. The people who participate in TToT are a truly awesome bunch from all age groups and all walks of life; I hope you'll join us and invite your blog friends to do the same, everyone is welcome!
At Ten Things of Thankful we believe that there are many little things in our lives to be thankful for each day as well as the big things that stand out. Keep in mind that you are not required to list ten things if you can't come up with that many, nobody is keeping score, just do the best you can! You'll find that once you get started, more things tend to pop into your head! There is no specific format required for your post, you are encouraged to do it your way. Variety makes it interesting! :-)
This week's TToT link-up will open shortly after midnight (Central Time) on Thursday night, and will remain open until Tuesday night, so you have plenty of time to work on your post.
Please visit as many of the links as possible, sharing your thoughts is what this group is all about; and PLEASE check back next week for new links that were added later, those folks will appreciate your comments too!
Thank you for your part in making our Ten Things of Thankful blog such a blessing,

Please take a moment to answer the following questions in the comments section below. It's a fun way for us to get to know each other a little better. If you knew this was going to be your final day on Earth, what would you want for your last meal? Would it be a large gathering or a private affair?
Hi :) for my last meal, it would have to be adobo and rice, followed by leche flan. I'd like to be with Him Indoors and probably HRH the son and his beautiful K.
ReplyDeleteWhat we eat wouldn't matter so much, but i would like to have family and friends and a pastor so we could have communion together. Yes, i'm a weird old church lady.
ReplyDeletei would want to be with my hubby, mom and niece and my cats. I would have nachos and cheesecake with strawberries on it.
ReplyDeleteA simple meal of pizza with family.
ReplyDeleteSomething simple with family and a few close friends. Definitely cheesecake for dessert.
ReplyDeleteI would just want to be with my family. I guess it would depend on what the circumstances were for it being my last day on earth, as to what I might want to eat or not eat.
ReplyDeleteNot sure - a few scenarios ran through my head. But we have to be ready at anytime for it to be our last day. It did make me think I need to see my family and friends as often as possible and leave good memories.
ReplyDeleteMy top choice meal, other than the fried chicken dinner my mother made which remain only in my memories, would be surf and turf... lobster, crab legs, and rib eye steaks, and definitely cheese cake and chocolates for dessert! I would love to have a gathering of all the people I treasure in my life, but I know in the end I would choose to be with just my close family at a table overlooking the ocean somewhere, making one last wonderful memory together.
