Are you in thankful mode for what life has given you this week? I've been on vacation, and Papa Bear and I have had such a wonderful time together. I love making memories to treasure! We'll be winding our way home this weekend, so it might take me a little longer than usual to come around to read and comment on your posts, but you can be sure I'll get there! :-)
At Ten Things of Thankful we believe that there are many little things in our lives to be thankful for each day as well as the big things that stand out. Keep in mind that you are not required to list ten things if you can't come up with that many, nobody is keeping score, but do the best you can! You'll find that once you get started, more things tend to pop into your head! :-)
This week's TToT link-up will open shortly after midnight (Central Time) on Thursday night, and will remain open until Tuesday night, so you have plenty of time to work on your post. Please check back next week for new links that were added in later, those folks will appreciate your comments too!
Thank you for joining us here,
Josie Two Shoes :-)
Please take a moment to answer the following question in the comments section below. It's a fun way for us to get better acquainted. Outside of births and weddings, what is one of your happiest memories?
Mine would be arriving at my writing workshop in Mexico. I couldn't believe I'd made it all that way on my own. The feeling was impossible to describe in words, which is what I do, and wish I could find a way. Some things can't be adequately expressed.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Kerry, sometimes words fail us for the most powerful experiences. Your trip to Mexico was so incredibly brave and bold and I was delighted it turned out to be so awesome!!
DeleteGraduation day. A very good memory!
ReplyDeleteThose milestone memories are indeed sweet, Mimi!
DeleteBesides births and weddings? Everytime I put my toes in the sand and the water washes over my feet.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that thought, Val! You know I feel exactly the same. I can't wait to feel that again, each time it's the same wonderful sense of joy!
DeleteThe happiest times I've spent are vacations with my husband, he makes sure everything goes smoothly and that we take time to just relax. He loves to experience new things and places just as I do. We'd be very happy living as permanent nomads if that was financially possible. I am thankful for the journeys we've shared!
ReplyDeleteMemories made with people we love are the very best... joy multiplied!
DeleteGoing to pickup our son in Denmark when he completed his church mission there. We got to go with him to see the various places he had lived and the people he had met and come to love. We also went to the temple in Sweden. Such a beautiful time and seeing how much he had grown during that time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful adventure for you, and yes how exciting to see our children grow and mature from experiences like these!
